The NASW-NC Chapter Ethics Committee is an NASW-mandated committee charged with processing ethical complaints filed against NASW members residing in North Carolina. This committee hears and determines the outcome of reported violations of the NASW Code of Ethics.
Also, this committee provides ethical consultation to members, promotes ethics education, and develops ethics resources for social workers. The Chapter Ethics Committee meets by conference call.
Your NASW-NC Chapter Ethics Committee offers peer ethical consultation to NASW-NC members. To submit your ethics questions call 800-280-6207 ext 300. This service is a NASW-NC member benefit and your membership will be verified.

Any NASW-NC member may volunteer to serve on this committee with no term limit. If interested, please contact the NC Chapter office at 800-280-6207 (NC toll free) or
919-828-9650.. Once added to the Membership Committee, you will begin
receiving committee-related correspondence from Chapter staff, the
Committee Chair, and fellow Committee members as needed
