NASW-NC makes it easy for you to obtain continuing education.

The following home-study options are APPROVED by the NC Social Work Certification & Licensure Board!

 

 

The CE Catalog: This new service offers a wide variety of online courses for core clinical and ethics topics. Here you will find a variety of alternative learning formats for your continuing education needs, including: self study programs, audio workshops available for download, taped video presentations, and live online seminars such as webinars/teleconferences (comming soon).  These courses are developed with the social worker in mind. The primary focus is to further develop the social worker’s professional skills.

 


Yourceu’s: Offers online courses for core clinical and ethics topics. These courses are developed with the social worker in mind. The primary focus is to further develop the social worker’s professional skills. 

NASW-CA Online CE Program: Our chapter has partnered with the NASW-CA chapter to provide online courses in a wide range of topic areas.  

 

 

 

National NASW — The online courses offered through NASW National’s website are approved for North Carolina social workers.

The NC Social Work Certification & Licensure Board (NCSWCLB) requires that you complete 40 hours of continuing education for license renewal. Twenty (20) of those hours may be done through home-study or self-study. All of the home-study/self-study courses offered through NASW-NC have been pre-approved by the Licensure Board for your convenience.

 

NASW-NC is a Deemed Status organization with NCSAPPB. All courses taken through NASW-NC are pre-approved for initial and renewal of your substance abuse credential.
