NASW-CA Online CE Program: Our chapter has partneNASW-CA provides online courses in a wide range of topic areas.

Financial Social Work — This certificate program offers 20 hours of continuing education. It is offered through the Center for Financial Social Work, and is designed to teach social workers how to assist their clients through financial education and support.

National NASW — The online courses offered through NASW National’s website are pre-approved for North Carolina social workers.

The NC Social Work Certification & Licensure Board (NCSWCLB) requires that you complete 40 hours of continuing education for license renewal. Twenty (20) of those hours may be done through home-study or self-study. All of the home-study/self-study courses offered through NASW-NC have been pre-approved by the Licensure Board for your convenience.

NASW-NC is a Deemed Status organization with NCSAPPB. All courses taken through NASW-NC are pre-approved for initial and renewal of your substance abuse credential.
