Charlotte/Mecklenburg County

Local Program Unit

Local Program Units provide an excellent vehicle for education, networking, membership recruitment, communication, and support at the local level. While an integral part of the Chapter's functions, LPU's are developed, run and maintained by volunteers in the local area. LPU participants often receive five or more hours of continuing education annually through LPU meetings. NASW membership is not required to attend, however, we encourage you to join! If you would like to assist in your Local Program Unit, please contact the chairperson(s) or the Chapter office.
