Statewide Practice Units

NASW-NC currently has 8 Statewide Practice Units.  Practice Units are member-led and member-developed, and allow members to form statewide action units based on their social work practice interests, issues, or areas. The NASW-NC Board of Directors officially approves each unit and provides for operating funds under the Chapter budget.  A staff contact is then assigned to assist each Practice Unit.  If you are a member and would like information on establishing a Practice Unit, please contact Chapter Director Kathy Boyd ACSW, CMSW at kathy@naswnc.org.
