Presenter: Pauline Chin, LCSW

Paulina Chin, LCSW graduated from Columbia University School of Social Work in 2001.  Paulina has over 15 years of post-graduate experience working primarily in community based organizations serving children and families.  Paulina started her career providing direct clinical service in a preventive program specializing infant mental health and later worked in a Head Start and Early Head Start program located in Queens, NY.  She later moved to Staten Island, NY where she worked in a School Based Metal Health program until she moved into a supervisory role and later became the director of Community Based Services of the Staten Island Mental Health Society.  Paulina is now the Clinical Supervisor of Camino Community Center’s Tu No Estas Solo mental health program and has her private practice in Huntersville.  Paulina enjoys working with children and their families and specializes in trauma, anxiety and depression.  She is also bilingual in Spanish and EMDR trained.

1. The emotional impact on 1st and 2nd generation children on immigrant families.
