Conference Overview
This conference will provide a focus
on cultural competence. A morning panel
will feature individuals from diverse racial,
cultural and ethnic backgrounds. A break
out session will follow for participants to
acquire more in depth knowledge about a
group of their choosing. The ethics presentation
will focus on supporting transgender

clients.

 

Conference Purpose
To celebrate Social Work Month through
an educational and professional

networking event.

 

Credit
4.5 Social Work Education Contact
Hours, which includes 2 hours in ethics,

will be provided for all those who attend.

 

Target Audience
Social workers from all practice settings.
Students and retirees are encouraged

to attend.
