2016 Annual Ethics Conference and Awards Luncheon

At this conference attendees will review the ethical underpinnings of the need for self-care. The workshop will start with a review of the potential bi-products of working in the helping profession: burn out, compassion fatigue, secondary trauma, and vicarious trauma. After participants have done a self-assessment the training will focus on the intervention side; building a personal and professional tool kit for self care including an examination of the role professional boundaries play.
