Understanding what is effective on a resume can be a challenge, especially if you are new to the social work field. This presentation will outline what is essential to include on your social work resume and will help you look through the employer's eyes to consider what organizations often look for when they hire. Valerie will share specific tools and content guidelines that build confidence in writing resume that maximize social work accomplishments.
The Social Work Interview: Your amazing resume helped you get your foot in the door; now you need to stand out from the other interview candidates and show the employer you are the right fit for the job and the organization. Valerie will share some tips on how to prepare for an interview so you can overcome your nerves, feel confident, and can connect with the interviewers.
