Cheryl Rae Swersey, CH is a clinical community herbalist with a personal practice, Take Care Herbals, in Asheville, NC. Their work is framed in a social justice lens, linking healing from oppression with herbalism. They have formally studied herbalism at The Chestnut School of Herbal Medicine, The North American Institute of Medical Herbalism, and co-founded a countrywide clinical mentorship program. Take Care Herbals is committed to making ethically wild crafted/grown/small batch medicine with personalized intention. Rae teaches from a healing justice lens and is a proud queer, trans, invisibly disabled, radical healer. 3. Learn the value and review how to use herbal medicine as a resource in your work.
