Title: The 2018 Essentials Conference: The Suicide Continuum

Description: The NASW-NC Essentials Series was developed to offer a more in depth look at a variety of social work practice topics.  This year we will more closely examine the suicide continuum.

Join NASW-NC at this one-day, 7 hour workshop as we help social work clinicians develop techniques to manage the suicide continuum.  We will discuss client ideation, risk factors, screening and assessment.  In addition, we will discuss postvention including clinician responsibilities to their clients, their families, and themselves after losing a client to suicide.
