Learning Objectives:

  1. To develop skills in critically analyzing the multiple layers of stress in the workplace.
  2. To increase participants' knowledge and skills related to the signs of workplace burnout.
  3. To enhance participants' knowledge and skills related to self-care and the implication for Social Work practice.

Presenter Information: Wendy Sellers, MSW, PhD

Wendy E. Sellers is an Associate Professor in the Department of Social Work at Winthrop University. She received her Ph.D. in social work and MSW from the University of South Carolina, an MA in the University of South Carolina, an MA in History from Florida State University, and a BA in history from Wofford College. Her research focuses on immigration, sustainable development, international social work and program evaluation. She is also a certified Health Coach through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and has presented in multiple settings on topics related to self-care and wellness.
