As our understanding of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning (LGBTQ) people continues to grow, it is important to ensure that we understand the lived experiences of these identities in order to serve them effectively and ethically. This training will focus on enhancing the learners understanding of potential ethical dilemmas when serving members of this community, and provide best practices for how to engage professionally in ways that validate and affirm the identities and experiences of sexual and gender minority members.
