NASW-NC Conversation:

School Social Work: Addressing Institutional Racism in the Public School System

Hosted by the NASW-NC Equity and Inclusion Workgroup

Wednesday, July 1, 6pm-7:30pm EST via Zoom

Most of us chose social work because of the value of social justice in our profession. Racial justice should be at the heart of social work practice. Racism is America's defining social problem. By not acknowledging and addressing this, social workers are ignoring their ethical obligation. Now is the time to let our voices be heard. Join us on Wednesday, July 1 at 6pm EST for a conversation with the NASW-NC Equity and Inclusion Workgroup to check in and get to work on addressing institutional racism within public school systems.

All are welcome.

There is no cost to attend this Zoom conversation, but registration is required in order to receive the Zoom link.

Since this is a conversation and not a presentation, there is no CE associated with this event.
