Presenter: Shauna Hopkins

Shauna Hopkins is an Independent Non-Profit Consultant and Grant Writer out of Fayetteville NC. She graduated from Fayetteville State University, and received her Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology. Shauna is a self-proclaimed Military Brat, who traveled the world with her Mother and brother during her Mother’s 20-year military career. Which resulted in her family landing in Fayetteville 25 years ago; to make this her home.

Shauna began her journey in the non-profit world over 20 years ago working with youth program the YMCA of Fayetteville NC then transitioning a few years later to the Find-A-Friend youth program of Fayetteville Urban Ministry. She became the Director of the Find-A-Friend program and continued to serve the agency until 2020. Over the last 20 years Shauna has transformed and improved the lives of thousands of children and their families; by providing evidence based programming and structured workshops to improve their quality of life. During this time Shauna also developed several successful programs, trained hundreds of volunteers, interns and staff; while researching and writing grants for several hundreds of thousands of dollars. Shauna’s time working in non-profit has given her the extensive knowledge and experience to make her a successful Non-Profit consultant and grant writer.
