NASW-NC Member of the Week: Lauryn Sawyer

This week's NASW-NC Member of the Week is Greenville Local Program Unit co-chair Lauryn Sawyer... congratulations Lauryn!


Lauryn Sawyer has been working with families as a Social Worker since 1993. She earned her Master of Social Work Degree from ECU in 1997. She has studied Transactional Analysis since 2001, has trained both locally, nationally and internationally. She earned her TAP - Transactional Analysis Practioner Certification in 2013. She has been an active member of NASW since 1993, serving as the Co-Chair of the LPU for several years in Greenville. She has been providing supervision to help new graduates to become LCSWs.She has taught at Pitt Community College and ECU. She loves encouraging new professionals in the field and she has been in private practice since 1999 in Greenville.
