On Thursday, March 26, the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (NC DHHS) held a provider webinar (recording of the webinar coming soon!) with new information on telehealth flexibility provisions and billable codes. New codes will go live on March 30 and they are retroactive to claims from March 10.

This webinar featured news about which codes are billable by Associate Licensees.

Codes 98966, 98967, and 98968 are currently billable by LCSWAs these are telephonic assessment and management services. Submit these as an FFS code and not with T1015. Use a CR Modifier.

As of March 30, Associates can also bill 90791 and Individual Psychotherapy codes 90832, 90834, and 90837. More information on these codes and how to bill can be found by clicking here.
