Local Program Units (LPUs) provide an excellent vehicle for education, networking, membership recruitment, communication, and support at the local level. While an integral part of the Chapter's functions, LPUs are developed, run, and maintained by volunteer NASW-NC members in the local area. LPU participants often receive five or more hours of continuing education annually through LPU meetings. NASW membership is not required to attend, but members do receive large discounts on registration fees!

For information about developing a new NASW-NC LPU in your area, please click here to access the NASW-NC Local Program Unit Manual.  This manual contains just about everything there is to know about starting and managing a LPU.
