The NASW-NC North Carolina Political Action for Candidate Election (NC NASW PACE) is the political action committee of NASW-NC. The goal of endorsing candidates is to elect candidates that uphold the values of NASW-NC, our social work members, and protect the populations our profession serves.
Members of this committee: - Make endorsements of candidates for state and local elections
- Make financial contributions to the campaigns we endorse
- Mobilize social workers to volunteer for candidates
- Engage in voter registration and Get out the Vote events
- Educate social workers about civic engagement and encourage participation

Any social worker who lives or works in NC can make donations to NC PACE!
Options to donate: - Mail a check or cashier's check, or money order payable to NC NASW PACE and mail to P.O. Box 27205, Raleigh, NC 27611 with the form below. We CANNOT accept cash donations.

Both Lauren Zingraff, Director of Advocacy and Policy, and Valerie Arendt, Executive Director, are registered lobbyists for the association. They are prohibited by law from giving money to campaigns. Neither of them make decisions about endorsements or participate in conversations about endorsements.
