November Elections

  • Early this fall, the NASW-NC PACE committee will be making recommendations for candidates running for the State Assembly and the State Senate. Please check the NASW-NC website for the list of endorsements.
  • The number one priority of NASW-NC PACE is to elect more social workers into public office; therefore, the committee will evaluate local races if there is a candidate who is a social worker.
  • The chapter’s Legislative Committee will evaluate fall ballot measures and publish those recommendations along with our candidate endorsements. Candidate recommendations for federal office will be posted on the NASW national website.
Members and not yet members, we welcome your voice now and always. Please email Valerie Arendt your thoughts on how NASW-NC should take the lead, resources and ways you would like to contribute to this critical effort.
