Frequently Asked Conference Questions

LCSW Exam Preparation

The National Association of Social Workers offers Licensed Clinical Social Worker Exam Preparatory Courses twice a year (Spring and Fall). Each session is worth 5 hours of CE credit. The Sessions are intense and informative, and the responses have been very positive.

Participants will explore alternative learning styles that incorporate experiential components as well as a combination of partner, small group, and large group work. Instead of simply reading and reviewing material, we will collectively participate in engaging activities so the content 'sticks' in your mind. The session will cover practice theory, social work terminology, therapeutic strategies, treatment, practice techniques, ethics, social work values, DSM, psychopharmacology, and diversity sensitive practice.

Participants will also review helpful practice test questions including actual questions designed by ASWB.

Registration fees start at $99 for NASW Members and $156 for non-members.
