Topic: The Use of Activities in Support and Therapy Groups This interactive workshop will review the purposes and pitfalls of commonly used group activities and will illuminate best practices in the use of activity in both online and in-person groups. The purposeful use of activities in groups can enliven a group, increase group engagement and help achieve group goals. In addition to reviewing the best use of "tried and true" activities, we will discuss creative activities that allow group members to express themselves in non-verbal ways and to engage emotion.
Workshop attendees should be prepared to interact, engage in activities and have cameras on, if possible.
