Topic: Communicating for Change with Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP) This session will be an introduction to the NLP communication model in which we will explore a brief history of Neurolinguistic Programming, identify the elements of the NLP communication model, examine the utility of working with Internal Representations, and understand the effects of Internal Representations on one's internal state and its influence on the individual's behavior.
Presenter: Brad Kornegay, MSW, LCSW, LCAS Brad Kornegay is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist with more than a decade of experience working with trauma in the private practice setting. Brad is trained in an array of trauma treatment techniques including TF-CBT, EMDR, Brainspotting, Comprehensive Resource Model, Emotional Clearing, and various other practices. In 2020 he became a trainer of Neurolinguistic Programming and Mental & Emotional Release (MER). He currently operates a private practice and is dedicated to training and coaching professionals who want to level up their careers and work more effectively with their client populations.
