National Association of Social Workers International Chapter joins NASW North Carolina
Effective August 1st, 2013, the National Association of Social Workers, NC Chapter (NASW-NC) will take over the operation of the National Association of Social Workers, International Chapter. NASW-NC has 4,300 social work members in North Carolina. The International Chapter has just over 200 members worldwide.
The North Carolina chapter was selected by the International Chapter Board of Directors to oversee the operation of their membership. NASW-NC is looking forward to working with international social workers across the world through military and other positions. NC is one of the largest military states in the country and most NASW International members are military social workers serving overseas.
The NASW International Chapter will now be known as the National Association of Social Workers, NC Chapter International District.
