The National Association of Social Workers, North Carolina Chapter submitted comments to the Division of Medical Assistance (DMA) on a proposal to merge the Community Alternatives Program for Children (CAP/C) and the Community Alternatives Program for Disabled Adults (CAP/DA). Public comment is available until May 21, 2016 and comments will be considered before the plan is submitted to the Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services (CMS) for approval.
