Legislators Call Special Session- Starting Tomorrow!

North Carolina legislative leadership has called a special session for tomorrow, Tuesday, July 24th starting at noon.

While this session will most likely focus on developing language for the ballot regarding the six constitutional amendments, the proclamation calling legislators back into session allows for the consideration of "bills concerning any matters the General Assembly elects to consider."

NASW-NC will follow along and advocate for the social work profession and our clients during this special session. We will send out action alerts as necessary.
