Governor Cooper Proclaims March 2020 as National Social Work Month

(Raleigh, NC) - The National Association of Social Workers North Carolina chapter is pleased to announce that North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper has proclaimed March 2020 as National Social Work Month.

 

 

"Governor Cooper's recognition of Social Work Month this year highlights the importance of the social work profession and the impact social workers have on the communities of North Carolina,” says Valerie Arendt, Executive Director of NASW North Carolina. "We thank Governor Cooper for his recognition of the profession as we work to promote and enhance the power of social work in North Carolina.”
