NASW-NC seeks engaged and passionate North Carolina members to serve on the Board of Directors! Volunteering as an ambassador for your professional association is a great opportunity to network and grow as a social worker and to help advance the social work profession in North Carolina. NASW-NC and the social work profession need you! 

By serving on the board you will:

• Help advance and strengthen the social work profession and social justice issues
• Network with social workers across North Carolina
• Grow as a social work professional
• Build your resume

Positions Available Starting July 1, 2021

• Student Representatives: 1 year term (2021-2022) graduate in 2022 or later:
  (A brief Letter of Recommendation is required from faculty member for student applicants only.)
  •    Undergraduate
  •    Graduate
• Piedmont District Representative (find your NASW-NC District here)
• International District Representative
• Member at Large (3 positions open representing full membership)

NASW-NC Elected Positions that are not on the Board of Directors

• Delegate for the North Carolina Chapter (4 positions open)
• Committee on Nomination and Leadership Identification (CNLI) Members
