As part of North Carolina’s Medicaid managed care implementation, the state will launch a specialty Medicaid managed care plan currently referred to as the Specialized Foster Care Plan (FC Plan). The FC Plan will operate statewide and serve children and youth currently and formerly in North Carolina’s child welfare system.
The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (NCDHHS) is pleased to invite you to a webinar, scheduled for February 11, 2021 from 3-4 p.m., that will provide an overview of the FC Plan design planning efforts to date. Specifically, the webinar will highlight how the FC Plan seeks to address the many challenges this population faces today in receiving seamless and coordinated health care. The webinar will also review the key design features related to eligibility and enrollment, benefits, care management, and quality, among other areas.
Stakeholder engagement is a critical component of these efforts. This webinar is one way that NCDHHS is seeking feedback to further inform and refine the FC Plan design and implementation planning efforts.
