The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (NC DHHS) is offering two additional opportunities to attend a webinar-based public hearing about the NC Medicaid 1115 Demonstration Waiver proposed amendment. This wavier amendment addresses the impact of the NC Medicaid Managed Care launch date delay, from November 2019 to mid-2021, due to COVID-19 pandemic and state budgetary challenges. The amendment also adjusts the coverage approach for certain populations eligible to enroll in the Behavioral Health I/DD Tailored Plans and revises the Health Opportunities Pilot program details to align with current design. Join NC DHHS on one of the dates below for a review of the proposed changes to align the 1115 waiver with the current timeline and design. There will be an opportunity for questions and answers. The waiver amendment presentation is the same for all related public hearings.
