As we close out 2021 and continue to move forward, we feel it is important to take a moment to reflect on the strength and voice of the social work profession in North Carolina. Below you will find a link to the 2021 NASW-NC Impact Report highlighting the work of the Chapter and our members. We know that when you connect with the National Association of Social Workers North Carolina (NASW-NC) for individual support, licensure and career consultations and ethics questions, it is easy to see where your membership dollars go and the value of the Association. But our collective impact is so much stronger. This ongoing individual support, together with the daily behind-the-scenes advocacy and meetings, the Local Program Unit gatherings, and the community conversations have made us a powerhouse profession in North Carolina.
As you review the selected accomplishments in this document, we hope you take pride in what we’ve achieved together. This work would not have been possible without your NASW membership and support. We hope you feel both pride for our strong profession in North Carolina and inspired for what else we can accomplish together. Most of all, we hope you will continue this journey with us. We are stronger together and the impact you have is immeasurable. We are always here for you. Please reach out to the NASW-NC team at any time: www.naswnc.org/page/Staff
Thank you for your NASW membership
and please help us spread the good word: NASW-NC is the only
association advocating for the entire profession of social work in North
Carolina and we need your voice as a member of NASW. If you are not a
member of NASW, please join us today!
With deep gratitude,
Valerie Arendt, MSW, MPP
