NCDHHS Health Officials and Equality NC Host Town Hall on Growing Monkeypox Outbreak

RALEIGH — Equality NC is partnering with the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services to host another virtual town hall Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. to share information on how to "Learn. Look. Locate." so North Carolinians at risk for monkeypoxcan learn the facts about the virus, what to look out for and where to find vaccines and treatment.

Anyone can get monkeypox, but the large majority of cases in North Carolina in the current outbreak are in men who have sex with men. See the current case summary and demographics at ncdhhs.gov/monkeypox.
