As we close out 2022, we feel it is important to take a moment to reflect on the strength and voice of the social work profession in North Carolina. Click here to view the 2022 NASW-NC Impact Report, highlighting the work of the Chapter and our members.

We know that when you connect with the National Association of Social Workers North Carolina (NASW-NC) for individual support, licensure, ethics and career consultations and it is easy to see where your membership dollars go and the value of the Association. But our collective impact is so much stronger. This ongoing individual support, together with the daily behind-the-scenes advocacy and meetings, the Local Program Unit gatherings, and the community conversations have made us a powerhouse profession in North Carolina.

As you review these selected accomplishments, we hope you take pride in what we’ve achieved together. This work would not have been possible without your NASW membership. We hope you feel both pride for our strong profession in North Carolina and inspired for what else we can accomplish together. Most of all, we hope you will continue this journey with us. We are stronger together and the impact you have is immeasurable. Please reach out to the NASW-NC team at any time: naswnc.org/Staff

Thank you for your NASW membership, your voice and your support. If you are not yet a member of NASW, please join us today!

We are here for you in 2023!

With deep gratitude,

Valerie Arendt, MSW, MPP
