On March 8th, NCDHHS announced a partnership with CHESS Health and Trillium Health Resources to offer critical support for North Carolinians seeking recovery from substance use disorders. Through the eRecovery initiative, individuals will have access to the Connections app – a free, evidence-based recovery tool, offering 24/7 support from Peer Support Specialists.
NCDHHS is encouraging all North Carolina providers to share information about the Connections app with individuals recovering from substance use disorders. The Connections app features:
24/7 Recovery Support: Access help anytime, anywhere.
Crisis Support Button: Get immediate support, when and where needed.
Virtual Support Groups & Discussion Forums: Connect with others on the same journey.
Digital CBT Modules: Gain valuable skills for long-term recovery.
Achievement Tracking: Celebrate milestones and stay motivated.
Fully funded by NCDHHS, Connections is offered free of charge for North Carolinians who choose to enroll through their provider and download the app. This tool is available in English and Spanish.
