NASW-NC Member Appointed to NC Social Work Certification and Licensure Board

NASW North Carolina Member Appointed to North Carolina Social Work Certification and Licensure Board

(RALEIGH, NC) – The National Association of Social Workers North Carolina Chapter (NASW-NC) is thrilled Governor Roy Cooper has appointed NASW-NC member Carolyn Craddock under NASW-NC’s recommendation as a professional member to the North Carolina Social Work Certification and Licensure Board.

 
Carolyn Craddock, LCSW, LCAS, CCS, ACSW is employed by the University of North Carolina Wilmington (UNCW) School of Social Work as both the Assistant Field Coordinator and Lecturer. She teaches in the Bachelor and Master of Social Work programs on the Jacksonville and Wilmington campuses. She received the UNCW Director of Social Work Service Award 2020.

 
“I am honored to be recommended by NASW-NC. I will do my best to represent and reflect the values and ethics of our profession in service to the North Carolina Social Work Certification and Licensure Board,” says Craddock.

 
In addition to teaching, Carolyn has been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in good standing in the state of North Carolina for 22 years. She also holds a Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist and Certified Clinical Supervisor from the North Carolina Addictions Specialist Professional Practice Board.

 
Carolyn continues to provide therapy to children, adults, and families in an established private practice and integrated medical setting focused on wellness.

 
Carolyn previously served on the NASW-NC Board of Directors for six years as Treasurer, Second Vice President, Delegate, President Elect and finally as President.
