Presented by: Jeannine Moga, MA, MSW, LCSW
This webinar will explore the 'alphabet soup' of animals that serve as medical and therapeutic
aides (SAs, ESAs, and TAs), and what the expanded role of animals means for social work
practice. The legal definitions of working (vs. companion) animals will be presented alongside
the ethical and practical issues that may erupt when social workers are asked to evaluate, treat,
and/or advocate for clients whose animals play a focal role in their health and well being.
Guidelines for how to problem-solve as an 'animal-informed' social worker will be presented.
Once you have purchased this webinar, you will be emailed a downloadable attachment. That download will have a link and instructions for how to view the webinar, take the quiz, and get your CE certificate.
Please read those instructions closely.
There are no refunds for CE Certificates.
